In this initial step, the FP meets with the organizational leader to explain the purpose and benefits of the Fearless Organization Scan. This session, lasting 45 minutes, covers how the scan works, what it aims to achieve, and sets the context for the subsequent steps. It ensures that the leader understands the importance of psychological safety and how the scan will help in measuring and improving it within their team.
In this 45-minute session, the FP introduces the Fearless Organization Scan to the team members. This step is crucial for building awareness and understanding among the participants. The FP explains the importance of psychological safety, how the scan will be conducted, and what team members can expect. This session helps in gaining buy-in from the team and sets a positive tone for participation.
The FP enters participant emails into the portal and sends the FOS via email.
Once the team is introduced to the scan, the FP collects the email addresses of all participants and enters them into the scan portal. The FOS is then delivered via email and is designed to be completed quickly, within approximately 3 minutes. This step ensures that the scan is administered efficiently and reaches all intended participants promptly.
The FP pre-debriefs the leaders on the scan results and prepares for the team debrief
After the scan is completed, the FP meets with the leaders for a 60-minute pre-debrief session. In this meeting, the FP shares the initial results, discussing both high and low scores across the dimensions of psychological safety.
The FP also collaborates with the leaders to design the team debrief session, ensuring it is tailored to address specific findings and promote constructive discussions.
The FP conducts an experiential debrief of the FOS report with the team.
This 3-hour session involves the FP leading the team through an experiential debrief of the FOS results. The debrief focuses on capturing key insights, discussing areas of improvement, and planning actionable steps. The goal is to foster open conversations, address any concerns, and collaboratively develop strategies for enhancing psychological safety within the team.
